WE'RE BACK!!

I know it took a long time, but I told you eventually I would make it back!

Very excited to be starting where I left off, I have some fantastic loyal fans, friends and my family who push me to get better, bigger and more extravagant.

I recently put the facebook page back up for viewing, BUT there are a few changes apart from the format, thanks FB, just love everything changing on a weekly basis!

Custom Order are still out of action, I hope to be able to organise a few here and there when I get my time management back under control, but I wont be taking on as much as I have done previously, seems it was at the cost of time with my child, its a price that's to high to pay, especially now I'm back at work 3 days a week!

Must say I'm happy Toni-Rae my precious girl is at school now, but she is growing up faster than ever, getting very clever! But I do feel guilty I'm not still at home with her full time, but I'm sure her Christmas presents will make up for lost time anyway. Most of you know I'm a single mother, so sometimes things can get tough, and anyone who is or has been in my position I sympathise genuinely.

Ok back to business, in speaking with another business owner sometime back, some of you will know of the awesome Kerryn from Millie-Mae, and we both came to the conclusion that the time I was dedicating toward my business page was taking over my life and a solution would be to hold a Market night rather than attempting to keep up with all custom orders. I was suffering, and my child suffered due to it in more ways than one. My health is a lot better since taking the break so I'm hoping it wont disturb my creative genius again ; )

In saying that you will notice the Market Night Album in the photo area of my page now, it will be first in best dressed from the time the market opens. First person after the market opens to comment sold under the item gets it! Simple as that, no reserving! Any particular sizing you want to see, and styles can be recorded by commenting under the current Market Album and I will take it under advisement and accommodate where I can.

Well that's about all for today, will have some new promotions for you soon, especially seems we crossed the 1 year mark with no celebration due to absence and I do have my Flirty Thirty coming!

2 fantastic causes hosting auctions

Well even though im not working, im still working, little behind on everything or i would have posted a couple of shoutouts a lot earlier..

Lynne who runs this page is an absolute angel, constantly raising funds for those who need it by way of auctions.. I never noticed earlier, but again there is a fabulous spread of donations and were calling for all bidders to drop by and help raise the money for a bed for Chloe(as seen in picture) which will help her stay upright enough when she sleeps to assist with her lung function..

The auction started 1st of March and ends on the 13th of March so there is no time to waste! Drop in and help support this wonderful cause. Lynne i promise when i come back from this break, i will be back into the swing of things and throwing more donations your way, and i will not take no for an answer!

Another wonderful little page is Help Joel Kick a Goal

Joel is one of Tracey's son's, whom you might know from the beautiful page Sugar an spice, this young man is a great example of a child who has a dream and is working to find a way to fund it! Most people dont know but this courageous young man has Aspergers Syndrome and also has Type 1 Diabetes. The family were told Joel would never play team sports but his absolute love for Soccer has ensured his total dedication and he has now been selected to play for Wide Bay U13's. This is one step away from making the State team. 


Tracey was looking at different options for Joel to work towards paying for his passion, to teach him the values of hard work and focusing on the goal. So the auction was born. Again the donations are flooding in but where are all the bidders!! Were hoping to see this a success, it would take a little of the financial strains associated with sports off the family and make it all the while more special to Joel.

Other pages who are involved with Joel's auction is the one and only Lynne from SpinaKids who as you know is raising funds herself but still generous with other causes, Belinda from Raising Hope For Brittany another cause, Christine from jelly bean books who is also running a competition to help raise the numbers on Joel's page, Kimberlina from handmade with love by me 4 u another lovely generous lady who i have had the pleasure of getting to know and call a friend, and SO MANY MORE, including one of my last custom order donations until i get back on my feet.

One thing i have noticed when it comes to Facebook is that there are so many generous people out there, please help us find some more and point them in the direction of all the causes.

I better sign off soon before i loose my cool with my yes i dare say it, TERRIBLE 2, she seems to have woken up one day JUST to annoy the crap out of me and do EVERYTHING i tell her not too and im loosing carpet in the lounge room at present she has pulled out so much stuff, but yes i do take comfort in the fact she is just normal, but i will be smiling non stop when she grows out of this stage ; )

Time to take it easy

Well its been unfortunate but I have had to stop all custom orders, I have not been well for a while and really need the break, I know it will upset a few of you loyal fans but I know you all understand. With a growing demanding 2 year old, a house to run, family stresses, accounts to do and possibly an upcoming return to my career in accounting I have had to draw a line until I sort out a proper routine and return to good health.

I have no intentions of closing the business but I will have to take it a bit easier than I have the last few months of starting.

Thank you all for all your kind words on the facebook page when I announced the news, you have no idea on how much I appreciate all the support.

Well I best be getting myself into gear, today is the day little miss goes out to model for Pretty things! Should be a fun afternoon, looking forward to heading out to the beach for a nice relaxing afternoon, have a boston bun ready for a mini picnic with my sister and her kids and the camera charged..

An upcoming event is the Raising Hope For Brittany charity auction!! I try to get involved in this every month, this is an ongoing need for support and I urge everyone to get involved where they can, Brittany was born a normal little girl to a wonderful set of parents.. Belinda and Robert were horrified to wake up one dreaded morning to find their little angel suffered a severe hypoxic brain injury at the age of 17 months old. She was left with severe physical and intellectual disabilities. To add insult to injury Brittany was sexually abused by a Carer on her school bus in 2009..

Brittany's family and friends are fundraising to take this gorgeous 13 year old overseas for stem cell treatment and to help purchase disabled equipment and modifications to the home for Brittany.

Well it took me HOURS to decide on backgrounds, templates, layouts etc but finally after all the hard work OH BABY!'s blog is up and running!

Very excited to be launching this, means the fun is just beginning.. Next step will be the webpage but for now keep an eye on the facebook page and the blog for updates..
